Scooters are the most popular form of transport here especially with students. The scooter riders creep up the inside between you and the street vendors. Sometimes they come in the opposite direction making it a bit of a free for all on the roads. Pavements are virtually none existent so I am sure it is not uncommon for the scooters and their riders to end up buried in some shop front, but as the stores are usually open fronted the damage can be contained. Still it can be a bit hairy at times. However it does demonstrate the extraordinary skill humans have to interact harmoniously in complicated situations with few rules.
