Sunbrella

Umbrellas are a must here whatever the weather. This is the Sinyi district of Taipei, which has wide boulevards and equally generous walkways. It is a pleasant area to walk around but best when it is not too hot. Especially as waiting for pedestrian traffic lights to change can be tiresome with the sun beating down. In this area there are numerous tall buildings and this photo shows the Farglory financial centre which is just over 200m high. 101 is also not far away and at over 500m more than twice the height of the Farglory centre.
