Inside 101
Blue skies and lots of sunshine but it is hot, humid and stuffy in the city. Inside 101 however it is super cool with it's marble floors and extraordinary architecture. I don't know about the pyramids but when you look at this building you have to wonder how they did it and what it all cost. The supports on the right were enormous and looked like they were made of cast iron. Isambard Kingdom Brunel would have loved it.
...and another thing while on the subject of Europe v Taiwan (see 'Taipei today'). Why is it in Europe we have to suffer this ridiculous coinage and pricing. Here everything is in Dollars. There are no cents. The fare on the HSR was NT700$ not €19.99 as it would have been in Europe, so that you end up with a pocket full of one cent coins that wear a hole and are of no use to anyone!
Maybe someone from the banking system can explain that to me.
