Unusual horse sculptures

Not far from Taichung main station there is a small park which is a pleasant retreat from the noise and bustle of the city. Here the wildlife seems surprisingly tame and I am able to get quite close to squirrels and 'Night herons'. A famous landmark in the park is the wooden pavillion by a small lake (Sun-Moon pond). Koi, turtle and ducks swim in the lake which is surrounded by lawns, bridges and pathways. The most spectacular exhibit however has to be the enormous goat sculpture (See next post).
