Yuanlin market II

Here is a more colourful view of the market area in Yuanlin. The area consists of narrow streets where small stall holders sell mostly fruit and vegetables from the side of the street. I would reckon from my few visits to Yuanlin that at least 50% of the town has nowhere for pedestrians to walk. You join the traffic, standing in the road beside scooters, cars and bicycles waiting for the lights to turn green. When they do its a mad scramble as everyone tries to find a way through the oncoming mayhem. However the traffic is generally quite civilised all things considered.
