I am not a great cat lover but I was drawn to photographing this one, as it seemed to have an unusually relaxed, regal air about it. Only after downloading the images did I realise it was no ordinary household cat. Its markings looked more like that of a wild cat and at first I thought I had unwittingly captured a Lynx kitten. However after some research it looked more likely to be a Desert Lynx, which is a hybrid domestic cat with bobcat origins.
