Taichung art
Park mirror sculptures
Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts entrance sculpture
Finest tea, at a price
Ballet dancer watercolour
In the long narrow park, north of the Museum of Fine Arts, there are many interesting sculptures that can be viewed from a wooden walkway shaded by trees. Yesterday I only managed to look around the first floor of the Museum of fine Arts, having spent most of the day walking around Taichung. After a cup of tea I headed back to the main station but paused on the way to look at an Australian-Taiwan watercolour exhibition held in the Taichung Municipal Office. There were many impressive paintings but the last watercolour I looked at was this superb painting of a ballet dancer by Liu Yi (For more info on Liu Yi see video link below - photo does not really do it justice).
