Last post

Just like the snail I move slowly on, my home packed on my back. That was my year in Taiwan and that means the end of this blog. I may update some pages now and again but otherwise there will be no new posts. I appreciate everyone who left comments and hope that they will forgive my removing them but I prefer to leave it like a book with no distractions written in the margins. 

If and when I return to Taiwan later this year I will begin a new blog and this old blog will remain as a reference document for anyone interested in things Taiwanese. If you have followed this blog and enjoyed it please let me know along with any improvements you think could be made to future ones. Now that I am back in Europe I will spend the next couple of weeks digesting the experience and may well add to the summary later. It's hot in Taiwan now, too hot for me, but then it was also hot in Germany today, above 30 degrees C and here the local trains have no air-conditioning so it was actually probably easier in Taiwan.
